I hate that my friends are growing up and going away. I feel like it wouldn't be so bad to be away from them if I was going somewhere new and exciting too... but I'm not. At least Caitie is staying pretty close. <3

I really, desperately want to move downstairs. I am so tired of hearing dad snoring in the next room. And the squirrels in the ceiling? I'm ready to not wake up to those. Plus, why do we have the guest bedroom so far away from the bathroom we expect them to use?

Okay. Wow. So, I generally turn off my cell while I'm at the computer because it fucks with my speakers. So on days like today when I get totally sucked into the computer (OH HAI. GAMES TO APPLY TO. PORTAL TO PLAY. YOUTUBE TO WATCH.) my phone can be off for a while.

I just checked my messages.

Message one: "Hi Maddie, this is Lara. I guess I'm kind of calling you out of the blue. Buuuuut.... BASICALLY I'm having a game night, and it is seriously lacking in foxy ladies. Yeah. Call me back."
Message two: "Uh. So I never told you when. Saturday! At five! You can just come anyway even if you don't call me back. Be there or be square, sugar tits."
Message three: "Oh hey... This is Lara again. Um. I'm kind of phone tagging you, but you aren't tagging back. Sorry 'bout that. I should just like hit you and be like 'no tagbacks times infinity!' Yeah. Did you ever do that as a kid? It's fucking annoying. BASICALLY I just realized I never gave you directions to my house. But maybe you're just a psychic teleporter. Uh... yeah. Oh! Also, I invited Mark, so you and I won't be the ONLY foxy ladies there. Yeah. Call me back and I'll-----"

I love Lara. Also, oh my god. I laughed so hard I cried. Sugar tits. Wow. Tears of hilarity are actually coming out of my eyes right now. Wow.

I bought skinny jeans. And they look hot. I once said I would never buy skinny jeans, because I said an ass like mine and jeans like that could not coexist without flashing lights and a beeper for when I backed up. But I was wrong. HA.

Also, it turns out my change box had over twenty dollars in it. Sweet deal. Mom and I walked to the QFC with all of the coins (mostly pennies) in a bag in my purse. We speculated that it was probably about seven dollars. I'm feeling rich rich rich right about now.

Old Navy might have lost my application. I went to ask the manager and she's like "what's your last name?" And so I said, and she's like "we already hired you," and so I said, "no, you hired my sister Grace. I'm Madeline." So she goes, ".... I'll ask the store manager?" We'll see how that pans out.

I finally registered for classes. I turned out I did have an unpaid fee, which is weird because I could've sworn we'd paid them all. I also got my grades back! I got a P, a B+, and an HW. Not fantastic, but I honestly didn't expect any better when I took all of the absences into account.

I finally gave my two weeks on sunday. Hopefully I hear back from the places I applied before then. I don't really need money or a job right now, but I really don't want to work there anymore. Really really.

Also, maybe I'll be getting prescription sunglasses. They are huge and purple and beautiful. But they are also quite expensive. I'll probably end up getting different ones.
